DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 402/2021
of 10 December 2021
amending Annex V (Free movement of workers) and Annex VIII (Right of establishment) to the EEA Agreement [2024/683]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/2014 of 17 November 2021 amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1073 laying down technical specifications and rules for the implementation of the trust framework for the EU Digital COVID Certificate established by Regulation (EU) 2021/953 of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annexes V and VIII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following is added in point 10a (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1073) of Annex V to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The following is added in point 11a (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1073) of Annex VIII to the EEA Agreement:

Article 3
The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/2014 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on 11 December 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 5
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
