Law via internet (LVI2016) – September 2016

The yearly conference Law via the Internet 2016 – LVI2016 took place, in Limassol, Cyprus On 8-9 September 2016. The conference is organized by the Free Access to Law Movement ( http://www.fatlm.org/ ), an international voluntary association which role is to provide and support free access to legal information, consistent with the principles of the Free Access to Law Movement and subscribe to the Declaration on Free Access to Law from 2002 (the so-called Montreal Declaration - http://www.fatlm.org/declaration/ ).

The ELI project was presented by Marc Küster from the Publications Office at this event which hosted around 50 participants, mostly representatives of Legal Information Institutes from all around the globe: Canada, Australia, South Africa, Austria, France, Italy, Japan, etc.

The conference covered other subjects as well such as open data and free access to law, data visualization, privacy issues on case-law, URI and reuse of data.
