RÈGLEMENT (CE) N o 1636/2006 DE LA COMMISSION
du 6 novembre 2006
modifiant le règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 du Conseil mettant en œuvre le système de certification du processus de Kimberley pour le commerce international des diamants bruts
LA COMMISSION DES COMMUNAUTÉS EUROPÉENNES,
vu le traité instituant la Communauté européenne,
vu le règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 du Conseil du 20 décembre 2002 mettant en œuvre le système de certification du processus de Kimberley pour le commerce international des diamants bruts (1), et notamment son article 20,
considérant ce qui suit:

L'article 20 du règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 prévoit de modifier la liste des participants au système de certification du processus de Kimberley figurant dans l'annexe II. |

(2) |
Par son avis du 20 octobre 2006, la présidence du système de certification du processus de Kimberley a décidé d’ajouter le Bangladesh à la liste des participants à compter du 20 octobre 2006. |
|
(3) |
La Bulgarie a informé la CE que le ministère des finances a été désigné comme étant l'autorité compétente chargée de la mise en oeuvre du système de certification du processus de Kimberley. |

(4) |
L'annexe II doit donc être modifiée en conséquence, |
A ARRÊTÉ LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT:
Article premier
L'annexe II du règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 est remplacée par le texte figurant dans l'annexe du présent règlement.
Article 2
Le présent règlement entre en vigueur le jour suivant celui de sa publication au Journal officiel de l’Union européenne.
Il est applicable à partir du 20 octobre 2006.
Le présent règlement est obligatoire dans tous ses éléments et directement applicable dans tout État membre.
